NENGA - ep. 2 : A cause

Fighting violence against women

The United Nations defines violence against women as “any act of gender-based violence that results in, or is likely to result in, physical, sexual, or mental harm or suffering to women, including threats of such acts, coercion or arbitrary deprivation of liberty, whether occurring in public or in private life.”

Over a quarter of women aged15-49 years who have been in a relationship have been subjected to physical and/or sexual violence by their intimate partner at least once in their lifetime (since age 15).

As the feminist that we our proud to claim we are, violence against women is a real concern to us at Bee’s.

Since the Women’s month is coming to an end, it was obvious to us that it was time to join the cause by launching a new piece, the “Para” asymetrical earrings” to symbolize this fight , as the most feminist collection we ever dropped is still going on.

As the month of March – Women’s Month drew to a close, it was obvious to us that it was time to join the cause by launching a new piece, the asymmetrical “Para” earrings to symbolize this fight, on the sidelines of the current collection which is the most feminist we have ever released.

Available since early April for pre-order, this limited edition jewel (50 pieces) is now available in stock.

By selling these earrings, we aim to actively help fighting violence against women, and this will be possible only if YOU join the movement.

40% of the sale price of these earrings will go to “La ligue”, an Ivorian association helping women victims of violence.
